Niu Han is a Kiwi-Chinese director who’s a rising star in the filmmaking world. From early in his career, he has had the opportunity to work as assistant director for John Woo’s epic sagas, “Red Cliff 1 & 2” followed by stints with top Asian directors such as Tsui Hark and Feng Xiaogang, as well as sharing some karate and filmmaking chops with Harald Zwart on 2009’s global box office hit, “Karate Kid.”

Han has also worked on a range of films like music videos, documentaries and commercials for Mercedes-Benz, Lenovo and Chrysler. His current work is with China’s star architect Ma Yansong, whom he is collaborating with in creating unique commercial and artistic films featuring Ma’s series of impressive buildings.
